Meet Our Staff

I have been in the Automotive Sales industry for the last 22 years. I can proudly say the last 21 years have been spent here with Gorges Volvo and I have called Omaha home basically my entire life. Being General Manager is more than just the day to day it's about building relationships and knowing our customers.

Chad has worked in the auto industry for over 16 years, the last 13 years of which have been here with Gorges Volvo Cars. He has worked in several roles on the sales side and has been in a management role since 2017. Chad and his wife have twin children who are school aged and he spends his off time with his family doing all that goes along with being "dad".  

I have been with the Gorges family since 2017 and have worn many hats in my time here. From starting as the receptionist, moving onto sales, to now managing our business development and social media I can truly say I am Volvo for life! My latest role allows me to assist in several different departments and connect with our clients both on the service and the sales side. In my free time I enjoy hiking, yoga, and live music. 

Charles has been a lifelong advocate for Volvo, and member of the sales staff at Gorges Volvo since 2014. Charles is immersed in the technology and capability of all of the Volvo products, with special attention paid to the new Volvos. Charles has been lucky enough to pilot many Volvo's throughout his life, ranging from a decades old 240 to a C30. With a wealth of knowledge, and healthy curious nature, Charles will work hard to satisfy the needs of any client. 

Charles is a Dundee native, and currently resides there with his family; Marina and Vera. As much as Charles loves Volvos he also shares an equal appreciation for bicycles, and can likely be found pedaling his way around Omaha on his days off. 

Chris has been with Gorges since September of 2021. His time here has been spent building an impressive knowledge of Volvo as a brand and their various models of automobiles. Chris's Clients value his ability to give a well-informed presentation of each Volvo model regardless if it's new or pre-owned.

Dustin was born and raised here in Omaha, and has been in car sales for a little over a year. Before entering car sales he worked for retail sales and management for 7 years, but has found car sales to be his true niche. Dustin enjoys working with the public and is constantly finding new ways to use his knowledge to assist customers in picking out the perfect car for them and their families.

Gunnar started working with Gorges Volvo in April of 2022 so he can provide outstanding customer service and sound product knowledge to all potential car buyers. He grew up in nearby Ashland with small town morals that strongly reflect the values of Gorges Volvo as a family owned and operated business. When he isn't at work Gunnar is most likely watching sports, or playing a round of golf with the boys. 

I grew up in a small town called Wymore, Nebraska which is located two hours south of Omaha. In 2005, I graduated from Nebraska Christian College, and in 2012, I received my Master's in School Counseling. In my free time I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family. I also enjoy rooting on the Huskers and Hawkeyes, needless to say the day after Thanksgiving is like watching my parents fight. Although I am not currently using my Master's in a school setting, counseling others make wise decisions in the car ownership experience is very important to me. My job here at Gorges Volvo Cars is to not only make sure you have a great experience the day you visit us, but for your entire ownership with your new car. Our Mission statement is to offer the highest level of quality products and service to establish life-long customers. I truly enjoy having our customers leave my office knowing they will be protected and having the peace of mind that we have their best interest in mind. 

Hello! My name is Heather Slizoski. I have worked for the Gorges family for more than half my life. I first started in high school as a part-time receptionist for Mike Gorges Pontiac-GMC-Volvo. After graduating I worked in the parts department for a year before moving on to other opportunities. Somehow a few years later, in 1994, I ended up back at the dealership and they had a position open in their new Buy Here, Pay Here department. I took on that role and moved to their new location at 42nd & Leavenworth. It was called The Used Car Store. When that location closed, I moved back to the main dealership and worked for their Volvo division and that's where I've been ever since. I took on the role of Office Manager in December of 2018 when Katherine Sibbel retired. It is a challenging but rewarding career and I appreciate the family-like atmosphere we have here. It is my pleasure to work for the Gorges family and with such a great group of people every day. Through the years here, I married, raised three beautiful children and stay active in my church.  #BEKIND

Hello my name is Tricia and I have been with Gorges Volvo for just under 3 years as their Title Clerk. I was born and raised in Omaha, a true native girl by far! When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family!

I am originally from California; I have been living in Omaha for the past 5 years. Yes, I do love the winters here. I have been with Gorges Volvo for about 2 years working in Accounting. In my free time I am playing with my dog, reading, or going to estate sales with my two boys.  

Hello my name is Suzanne and I am the Receptionist here at Gorges Volvo. I have been a part of the Gorges team for about a year. I truly love my job here and enjoy meeting new people and assisting our clients when they call in. I appreciate that everyone works well together which is something you can feel when visiting. My hobbies include surfing the internet, reading, and spending time with my granddaughters. 

John has been with the Gorges family since January of 2010. He started in the parts department as a parts advisor, from there he became the Parts Manager for several years, and today he is our Service Director overseeing both the Service and Parts departments. He has a strong love for technology, rc cars, and all things computers. His natural knack for fixing things quickly gave him the role of the dealership's IT support, also. 

Tonia is from Logan, Iowa which is where she lives today with her children and two dogs. She has been an integral part of our service team for the last 17 years. Being artistic she enjoys the challenge of trying a new craft, going on walks, reading, and supporting her son in his various sports and activities. 

Cory was born and raised in Papillon, NE. He started at Gorges Volvo back in 2005 as a Service Advisor; prior to joining our team he worked at the service department at a Chrysler dealership. Having been in the auto industry most of his adult life, his expertise is invaluable. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his daughter, Brooklyn, and fishing. 

I am from LaVista, NE which is where my wife and I live currently. I started here in 2004 as a technician, after becoming master certified I moved into the Service Advisor role. I am a true Volvo guy and know them inside and out. I enjoy hanging out with my kids, spending time outdoors, and catching some football on the weekends. 

I have been with the Gorges family since late 2020. I started in service, as a lot porter, and have since worked my way up to the Parts Manager. Learning the ins and outs of these vehicles has been so much fun! When I'm not in the shop you can usually find me, with my dog and husband, planning our next adventure!
