A Couple Reasons Why Your Tire Pressure Light is Illuminated

While it might be impossible to be completely safe from a tire issues, there are some little things that you can do to limit the trouble when you see the tire pressure indicator lit.
  • Look at the inner and outside walls of all four tires for signs of failure. What you will be looking for are bulges or cracks that could compromise the integrity of the tire.
  • Take a look at the treads on the tires too. There shouldn't be bare spots, that might be something wrong with the tire. Uneven wear will also weaken the tire, so pay close attention to those issues.
  • If the tread looks like it might be coming free of the tire, that is a sign of a defective tire and needs to be taken care of quickly.
Bring the car to Gorges Volvo Cars for a tire rotation and we can check the pressure indicators are operating correctly.
